It's all about our recent experience at Hotel K.C.Manor, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India which presumably is managed by Treebo (since the toiletries and some room supplies had the Treebo logo printed on them). In one word, the experience was miserable! And, that was only because of the Front Desk (precisely, because of Ms. Nirmala)! The Front Desk, supposedly the face-of-the-hotel which turned out to be the 'only worst place' amongst so many other touch points apparently ruined our entire experience at the property! But, I would also like to mention that, apart from the Front Desk, rest all the departments viz. F&B Service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security were extremely courteous and professional! So, no complaint against these departments (& their personnel)! I would rather praise them wholeheartedly and, if at all I revisited the place, that would be only because of these departments (and their people). But, moment I recall my interaction with the Front Desk, it spoils the entire image of the place! Especially, with the lady at the Reception named Ms. Nirmala who I already have spoken about! I always stay at a hotel and avail its services with the impression that "ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen"! But she ruined my belief, completely! She was extremely impolite and hostile to be at the Front Desk! In fact, she must not be in any department of this (or any) hotel as she is a perfect example of a 'complete mismatch' for the hospitality industry! So, my advice for the management/owner of the property named Hotel K.C.Manor, Jamshedpur is, kindly don't put people like Ms. Nirmala at any of the areas where they deal with your guests since that will surely tarnish your hotel's image in no time! Such people have only their ego and attitude in place and they would do anything to protect that, even if it is at the cost of the hotel's image! Now, whosoever is reading this must not get the impression that I am literally advocating phrases like 'Guest is God' or 'Customer is always right'! It has everything to do with 'empathy', especially when in-house guests are experiencing something as terrible as continued grueling sound of drilling and hammering on the adjacent walls (since we took two rooms) starting as early as 8 in the morning streching till almost 5 in the evening during our entire 4 days stay and, simply reciprocate with a hope that hotel staff will deal it with utmost care as, soundproof rooms are the basic need of any person staying in a decent hotel! And, that's what we were deprived of, literally! 'She' just asked us to be satisfied with her insincere apology and expect nothing more! Despite having booked the rooms well in advance and having interacted with another Front Desk personnel named Mr. Vishal on many occasions during that period, such an issue which, apparently was there persistently over many days before we checked in, was hid from us! So, we anyway felt cheated on that matter! Neither they had the provision to shift us to different rooms nor could stop that 'persistent disturbance' as, in both cases they called themselves 'helpless'! It was indeed a horrid experience to have first dealt with that sound and, later that lady! Advice is, avoid staying there and most importantly, speaking with that lady Ms. Nirmala at any given point of time!

Quality in the stay right from the word "Check In". The reception people are too cool. Also, the property is right in the heart of Jamshedpur with so many options around. Rooms are spacious, clean and sanitized. The restaurant on the top has clear glass and large seating area. Food quality is also nice but little costlier than other options around. If you stay here, please don't forget to visit the Ram Mandir on the opposite side of the road.

Quality stay right in hearth of Bistupur, offers nice stay at an affordable price. Rooms are clean and sanitized well, however some of the rooms do not have a window. This is not quite well. There are problem with water supplies at times.Bed is comfortable and is cleaned well everyday. Breakfast is of varying items almost everyday and the other meals are very tasty as well. We tried the Chinese dishes, which were very delicious, especially the mixed fried rice. Staff is polite and helpful. Situated from about 10mins walk from Bistupur square. Overall it’s a nice state for business or lesuire.

Pros: 1) Good service 2) Food taste was good 3) Location was excellent 4) Nice rooms Cons: 1) Boring and frustrating breakfast. Buffet will be there only when 10 and more guests are there. 2) Its mentioned Dettol suraksha but i didn't found even one Dettol product.

Not just pleasant, it's a brilliant stay, at this price range. Overlooking the Steel Plant, it is in vicinity of malls and shopping places. The staffs are so humble and nice mannered. Food is also exceptional, though the quantity is too much. One plate of rice is enough for the appetite of mine. I wish them all the best.
